A scientist who has the ability to work on "soft-money" funding, either full-time or part-time, but for whom conventional arrangements are not sufficiently flexible, should consider becoming a CPI grant-funded investigator. CPI staff can and do apply for and receive Federal research grants on a non-profit basis. At CPI, grant-funded investigators may do this by working on-site at one of our corporate offices, from home, or some other location. Grant-funded investigators from all science, technical, and social science disciplines are welcome.
CPI provides full-service management support tailored to the needs of grant recipients. Our small business has an efficient and responsive staff. At CPI, scientists can focus their attention on their work and have the independence necessary to conduct their research programs effectively, while at the same time being members of CPI's community of peers. Depending on your research interests and CPI’s corporate needs, opportunities may also arise from time to time to participate in for-profit contract research or services.
